Creative Marketing Assistant
Job Role:-
- Creation and editing of advertisements, electronic and physical newsletters, and other marketing material.
- Creation and distribution of internal presentation material
- Creation and distribution of PR and copy to trade publications
- Organisation of trade show displays
- Assist the Operations Director with various marketing projects
- Provide research material on clients, potential clients, and liaise with existing and potential suppliers.
Person requirements:-
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills
- Proven communication skills with both customers and suppliers.
- An understanding and appreciation of all aspects of the creative and production process.
- Full working knowledge of Microsoft Office inc Word, Excel, Powerpoint. Knowledge of WordPress an advantage but training will be given.
- Knowledge of project management systems, such as Basecamphq, MS Project, etc an advantage.
- Working knowledge of email campaign software, such as mailchimp, dotmailer, etc.
Experience:-
- Educated to graduate level
- Previous work experience in marketing, interest in automotive market an advantage.
Qualities:-
- Must be innovative and be able to communicate ideas clearly to both internal and external people.
- Flexible approach to working hours, e.g. being able to attend trade shows at evenings and weekends. Time off in lieu would be given where work is completed out of normal hours, which are 9.00 to 5.30 Monday to Friday.
Benefits:-
- Salary will be in the range of circa £19k + bonus dependent on qualifications and experience
